Today ... I see life in pink. What a great day!
Today is the deadline of 10 days specified in the law so that anyone objects to the adoption order, ends. Ten long days waiting this moment of certainty that no one can separate us from our treasures.
I'm certainly not bored during these ten days. I did not even claim that the time was long. But God I can not wait ten days pass and an imminent departure to Kiev and then to Montreal! In addition to having a wild desire to have my children with me always, I miss Tom! But it finishes, it's almost finished! And what is a short week when we are here for over 2 months !
This morning Natalya has therefore come to the apartment to come give me a hand to finish the process and help me get out of the orphanage children. What will you say? Since time you wait, you're not capable alone? Actually, not really. It's a bit complicated. Let me explain.
After a good breakfast and a shower Natalia - she came of a journey of 15 hours by train from Kiev. She also washed all her clothes because they "felt" train me she said ...
So we went to court to change a small mistake that Natalia was detected in our documents. Then we went to the orphanage to meet other papers. I took the opportunity to Elisaveta go. Unfortunately, after 10 minutes, the Nanny came to look for lunch. Strangely, she seemed a bit silly and said: Ok Lisa, lunch is served ... paka paka Mom. She then turned and closed the door leaving me there alone in the dark room, close to tears. I quickly consoled myself by saying that it is only matter of a few days to undergo the routines and regulations of the Orphanage. Soon I will decide these questions for her. Soon I will know if she has eaten for dinner, if she slept an hour or two at nap time or if it has a big or small poop in the morning. I know if she was sad when she went to bed the night before or if she has a boyfriend chicanée during recess ... I can understand what she saw and act accordingly!
Natalia So I joined the office of counsel for the Orphanage and we left to go shopping at the market. I bought a coat, booties, toque, the conmbinaison for Andrei and boots and a hat for Lisa. I buy as little as possible because I know that in Montreal, there will be many friends and family ... that all began to gather here and there! I appreciate so much all these things that have to Montreal to give us a hand. I even have a friend who took the initiative to send an email all her friends to tell them she would pick up tips that could accommodate a 4 year old girl and a boy of 7 years! Dear Michele!
Around 16:00, we returned to Orphanage. We tried the boots for children and Andrei tried his coat and pants that I had bought last week. Everything was perfect. The sizes are perfect. In addition to the have in the skin, I have them in the eye! we arrived Andrei who was in the yard has run at me and shook me. He was obviously happy he even told Natalia that 'He was so anxious to go home he could hardly sleep at night! We have promised him to hurry as much as possible to finish everything ... and if it was not starting tomorrow, we went on Wednesday. I told him that tomorrow there would be a surprise ... He was happy. When I kissed him before leaving it was very tight and strong I knew he understood that soon, very soon, we would no longer be separated and that very soon it would see his dad in Montreal, in his house!
Tomorrow there will be two small Partys departure. One group for Andrei and the other for group Elisaveta. As is tradition, I'll bring the juice, fruits and cakes.
Natalia and I the day will be busy. We will leave at 9:30 to go pick up the Order of the Court which will allow us to go changing the register of births (in the hometown of children which is about an hour of Lugansk) and then we will be able to complete the application for passports. We can have our passports as soon as tomorrow! But it can take several days. In Ukraine, you never know. As said Natalia always: We'll see .... We must also go to the department signing adoption of Lugansk, to shop for a farewell party, bought a gift for the director of the orphanage, etc.. It does not remain idle!
But hopefully tomorrow night will last a long time where I have to say "goodbye" to children because Wednesday I kidnap them after the dodo in the afternoon around 16:00 and it s 'true home. I think I'll lie both in my bed! No joke but I really look forward very much, I'll be very busy, probably too busy to write on my blog as regularly, but I promise to keep you informed as often as possible.
Thursday morning I decided to go to Kiev by plane instead of undergoing the 15-hour train ride. I'm very glad I made the decision that only costs a few hundred dollars more. But I don 'not really had the courage to make this trip.
