Hi friends!
Sunday evening ... you it is Sunday afternoon, long weekend. And we have seen that it is not hot for the bells at home! Wow ... Earl who probably made his own! We
here is still quite comfortable. Between 20C and 24C since last week. Much more chilly but still much more comfortable than our early heatwave.
the last blog I was saying that we would leave for the weekend visiting our friends, but on Thursday morning, when I called Natalia to announce this great news, but it did not seem to share our excitement, especially as it was with Kseniya (big boss). She told us that it was responsible for us and it was too dangerous from regional without an interpreter. She told us that we're going to train 12 hours to go in a city where there is nothing to do and risk being late for our next RV ... Tom was already that it was a bit complicated. We changed his mind and so I remember telling him that Natalia had changed his mind and was going to stay in Kiev. She We were told that Ksenyia would still meet with us to talk.
They are coming to see us at the apartment for us to offer a group activity outside of Kiev for us new things. We decided to opt for the Admiral Club, a kind of hotel complex with pool, tennis, table tennis, horse riding, fishing, etc.. We decided to go on Saturday with Emeline and Thomas along with Natalia. We were happy and the activity was fully available by Ksenyia ... It's very nice of him, it's really cheer for us which was really at its lowest.
Kseniya is part of the apartment and Natalia stayed with us and offered us to spend the afternoon with us for the rest of the day for free (normally it when working with us, it costs us $ 50US / day). She said we can do what you want: shopping, walking, visiting unknown location, etc.. We decided to go to the botanical garden ...

The season actually started, but as we have our appointment at the SDA Monday, I decided not to buy tickets because we'll go from Kiev next week. Ticket prices range from 20 to 200 UAH (between $ 3 and $ 25. per show) ... incredible!
The building dates from the early century and its interior is beautiful. ... I wish will probably return to Kiev!
We continued our good works. The weather was beautiful ... The storm had left a little fresh air and blue sky was incredible ... behind some thick white clouds.
We then visited a pharmacy that has remained exactly 19 years ago when Ukraine was part of the USSR ... it was really special. Everything is behind the counter which one has access.
We continued up to a bookstore to buy books (I offered "The Secret" to Natalia. The book cost 116 UAH (about $ 15US) but lacks the means to afford it ... what are luxuries they can not really afford. She was happy. She watched with envy and say she wanted to get it for a while but was waiting to have the money. Personally, I do not like this kind of book (it's too much like Paulo cohelo I can not stand - like any rule of positive thinking ... etc) but she was really happy.
Friday we spent a little quiet and relaxing day at home before going to dinner at our favorite little restaurant in the Ukrainian top of the hill, near our apartment with Emeline and Thomas.
I do not think I told you but they are back to Kiev for the second time because the little boy they visited last week had severe disease. They therefore decided to increase their agréement to 4 years to ensure they have a healthy child. They managed to convince their social worker in Montreal who did not agree with that too but who understood the situation. Before three years, it is very difficult to diagnose on the safe health of children when adopting older children, it limitte even destroys the chance of having serious and irreversible disease. Because that healthy children here there, you just have to wait our turn and be patient! They will wait patiently so their third visit to the SDA will surely be very positive and decisive.
Saturday morning, we picked ViktorMobile near McDonald's at the bottom of our apartment to go to the Admiral Club. We were very happy. We brought our jerseys, our books and clothes for all temperatures. It was cool in the morning and warmer in the afternoon. Here are some pictures from our fun day:

Unfortunately, only Thomas has caught a little fish ... only 5-6 cm. He obviously released. If not, it has relaxed. saunas were were complete and it was too cold to swim so I decided to go for an hour of riding. So I left alone with the guide (he would not go into the forest with people who were not experienced enough). But the "hilight" in my day was to see my mare's foal follow us and run with us. It was magical! Is not it cute? He followed us like a little lapdog. Sometimes he galloped in front of us and found a few dozen yards ahead if we decide to slow down and trot or walk. He came at a canter down to us, neighing as if to say we don ' were not quite fast! Truly magical. My sister would have completely overturned Josée! Do not laugh at the bomb that I wear ... it's more like a helmet but good. It's safer than nothing right?

We returned around 18 pm, happy and proud of our beautiful day in the country!
Today Sunday we were slow out of our apartment ... it is somewhat clinging to our television screens to watch the match of the U.S. Open resumed yesterday. From the very great tennis!
was then joined Maria and Jean-Francois, who are also return to Kiev after have met the 2 little brothers who are in two different orphanages and the oldest of which is not to be adopted. Indeed, from a certain age, I think it is 7 years (and that is exactly the age of the oldest). They are attached to the lowest which is 4 years but unfortunately the judge did not want to separate the brothers. Maria and JF have had to return to Kiev and abandon this issue. ; They are also expecting their third appointment.
We decided to call the new couple who arrived last week, Sean and Carlie (but I'm not some of the young man's name). They were in their mid-thirties, she and her Winnipeg native Dublin in Ireland but living in Montreal for 5 u 6. They want to adopt a little girl. We have invited them to join us for dinner 4. Emeline and Thomas are the other very sick ... fever, colds, etc..
All 6 Pervac went home, the same Ukrainian restaurant early trip where we had lunch with Melanie and Remi. A great meal once again.
Tomorrow afternoon we will have our last appointment. This appointment is extremely critical. It's the last time we can have all toes and fingers crossed should stay one more day ... When you wake up tomorrow morning, should be fixed! We remain extremely confident because there are so many couples choose their children to it ... And as RV you are unanimous on the fact that we will return not without children, so it's nice!
Tomorrow I'll explain next steps and I will try to write on my blog more often ... several ask me and it will probably be easier to faie.
We often think of you all the time!
Good night ... we love you! xxxx
